The Gloster Meteor never went nose
to nose with the Me 262. However, the
much faster Messerschmitt could have
used a “slash and dash” form of attack
to best the tighter-turning Meteor.
This aircraft now flies with the Temora
group in Australia. The Me 262 is part
of The Collings Foundation collection.
